Five individuals have been confined for utilizing a live cobra while getting into the rhythm of ‘Principle Naagin’ tune at a marriage parade in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj region, police said on Thursday.
An implied video that has turned into a web sensation via virtual entertainment showed ‘baraatis’ (individuals from the husband’s side) moving in the city of Karanjia town on Wednesday night with a snake charmer recruited by them showing the reptile in his bamboo container with its cover open.
Unnerved local people informed the Forest Department, and its work force arrived at the spot and safeguarded the cobra. Five individuals including the snake charmer were confined for misutilising the reptile, a cop said.
