For the first time in Raipur, Google Developer Groups Raipur organized DevFest successfully. DevFest Raipur is an initiative by Google Developers Group (GDG) Raipur with a strong focus on knowledge exchange, networking, and learning about technologies to nurture the needs and interests of the local developer community ecosystem. People attended a professional learning and networking event. This event is organized for developers, students as well as entrepreneurs also. The event took place right at the heart of Raipur at the National Institute Technology of Raipur.
DevFest Raipur is a 3-day, multi-track event that comprised various learning, growing and networking opportunities with 50+ speakers from across the globe. Speakers and developers from many big companies like Amazon, Google, Hotstar, VMware, Razorpay, Tensorflow User Group have joined us to give their talks and session on different domains.
The event started on 16th December with hands-on session and then the main event was hosted on the 17th morning in the presence of many attendees and speakers. The session on 17th was started with a keynote and a addressing session which was given by Sagar Utekar where he shared his journey like … how he grew and rose with Google and he also given welcome speech. Further after that, speakers and attendees get divided into four different domains. Similar to 17th one ..18th session was also started with an insightful session on Git-Github which was given by Jay Dewani and the Introduction and then Importance of terraform was covered by Vasundhara Shukla.
On 17th’ & 18th Web & Cloud sessions…
Tony Pham a speaker from Vietnam told about Security and postmortems with Security systems. Ashok Vishwakarma shared how well designed and developed design system can do wonders for the team as well as the product.
After that on the 18th Kunal Agrawal threw some light on how Firebase cloud functions are useful in deploying nodejs express application. He shared how Firebase eases the process of application buildings.
On the 17th-18th Machine Learning track, Rohit Ghumere explained about Devops and ML Oops and told us how to start with that. After that Monica have taken a session on Python and Data Science and she talked about the facts of Data Science. Kartikeya rawat and Shivay Lamba covered Tensorflow js and also told about trained ML models and many things. Sajan Kedia shared why ads? And how Adtech works. He also shared about Real Time Bidding, CTR prediction, and ML Models.
In Android & Flutter Session
Viren Khatri talked about Fractals, Custom paint, Render box, and shaders followed by a Live code demo. Prateek kocher told what kotlin is and what is its architectural view. After this, at the last addressing session and vote of thanks has been given by GDG Raipur lead Kuldeep Pisda, where he appreciated the efforts of attendees to learn new things and the efforts of speakers for taking wonderful sessions. He also appreciated and said thanks to the co-organizers and team members for being there for everything and managing every plans perfectly. Kuldeep further shared that every guest speakers were happy with this initiative and they also said they definitely will rejoin such tech events by GDG in future.
The complete event was organized under the banner of Google Developer Groups, and under the collaboration of Ecell NITR, Sparkars, GitHub, Goldcast, and OpincoCommunity. And completely managed by Kuldeep Pisda, Shreena Yadav, Kartikey Rawat, Atulya, Ashish chawda, Vaibhav Agrawal, and other team members.
